This is the second part of our talk with one of the members of my team - Anna Listunova. If the episode before was more about personal things and experiences, this one is more about the role of modern technologies, social media, the change in her perception of russians, and the different opinions we both have about that. Even though it was difficult for us, we both agree on how important it is to speak about these topics in a respectful way. It’s crucial to have these conversations to understand each other’s choices and actions better, and to feel more sympathy for each other.
In this episode you will learn about:
- how technology made it easier to find those who commit war crimes
- turning points in Anna’s perception of russians
- my own view about it
- the support Ireland provides to Ukrainians who are fleeing war
- the fear of showing your life on social media during the war
Stay safe and #standwithukraine,
Anna
