The F-word: Turning Feedback from Foe to Friend - with Alena Ipanova
Alena Ipanova is a global leadership and team development consultant, intercultural competence trainer, and an executive and team coach on a mission to help teams, individuals and organizations become more resourceful, successful and deliver sustainable results while truly enjoying what they do and being who they are.
Alena is also a close friend of mine - that kind of friend who can listen, wipe off your tears, but also gently call you out on your BS. I've experienced on my own skin her amazing skills to give and receive feedback. The word “feedback” is a very loaded one in many workplaces, and we had an intention to turn it upside and inside out with this conversation.
In this episode, you will hear about:
- How does the best feedback look like - in its positive or constructive form?
- When is feedback appropriate?
- What are the responsibilities of the person providing feedback, and what lies on the receiving side?
- How often should a leader include feedback in the conversations?
Enjoy and stay Genius,
Anna
