Carl-Johan Hamilton is a co-founder of an IT recruitment company in Sweden called Ants, which was founded in 2004. Today, the company has grown into a small group where Carl-Johan mainly works with recruitment business Code at Heart, which specializes in finding the best IT skills.
I invited Carl-Johan because he is very open about his journey as a co-founder and a leader, and I knew he had wisdom and experience to share with you, Genius Leader. Ants have survived the economic crisis of 2008 and are going strong through the pandemic time. This interview was one of the most flowing ones I’ve had, and it shed light on a huge spectrum of topics from global things like getting through a crisis to something as personal as raising kids.
In this episode we will talk about:
- Ants’ journey of getting through two crisis and learnings from these journeys
- Establishing values, taking time to get them right, and letting yourself explore
- How Carl and his company have been exploring the world for themselves
- The lessons pandemic brought to the company
- How to understand that you are in a right place at a right time
- The process and challenges of raising kids with great self-esteem and love for others
Enjoy and stay Genius,
Anna
