After nearly a dozen hours of interviews and chats with local and international founders, investors and community leaders, has anything new been discovered? Is there a viable way to reach out to entrepreneurs before they hit the wall? Or are there certain character traits that define the kind of person who’s willing to risk it all for their startup?
In this episode, I talk again with my collaborator Maria Alva Roff about what we learned during Sprint 2 of the Sustainable Leadership Navigator for Founders project. We go over a number of the main ideas that arose during our chats with leaders in the field of founders’ wellness and discuss whether it’s time to pivot from our original focus to something more relevant for the Icelandic business landscape.
In this episode, you will hear about:
- Whether early education about longterm health and wellness is the key to avoiding later burnout
- How founders are very much like athletes, and also how they differ
- Why trying to tell young founders that they’ll eventually hit a wall and crash is not only futile, but possibly destructive
Stay safe and #standwithukraine,
Anna
